Who are we? Do we bite? Do we live under a bridge and eat little children? No, those are trolls. We are Yin and Yang. Spiderman and Batman. We’re Ike and Tina Turner (and before you ask, I’m Ike, bitch). At first glance, even to us, we are very similar. We’re both tall, both sarcastic, both interrested in science and logic, both like sushi, both enjoy a good space opera, and what’s more… we are both registered republicans.

But that’s about it. Considering all the things we have in common, I am constantly surprised by the wacky ideas my co-cranium has on politics, life and choice of fast food. As, I am sure, he is of mine. My Republicanism is as tenuous as a cheesecloth hammock at a linebacker convention (I think I voted for Dukakis in my first election). His is substantially more firm (he has a ‘W’ coffee cup). And yet we remain civil (relatively) and open minded. Imagine that.

The object of this site is for two friends to start a dialog over hopefully interesting and controversial topics which we will sometimes agree on and sometimes will not. If you are reading this, you have just learned the secret door-knock and are now fully authorized to take a swing at either one of us. Heck, you can even agree with us if you like! Join the millions of other readers (ok, maybe 5), read, enjoy and join us in the debate. Incidentally, if you’re subscribing, subscribe to the comment feed as well… it will be as pertinent (or more so) as the posts themselves.
