About Bradley

I’m a 36 year old failed renaissance man. Obsessive NFL fan, born-again soccer player, frustrated guitarist and songwriter, theoretical physics fan-boy, armchair film director, cheap wine snob, and recovered comic book addict.

I have a degree in Liberal Studies, which means nothing more than spending a little over 4 years in school with passing grades and that I had little direction or drive. My previous attempts at meaningful degrees included Chemical Engineering, Landscape Architecture, and English, none of which captured my attention for more than a semester. I’ve worked in various capacities in the software industry since 1993, am married and have no kids.

Politically speaking, I have been traditionally very apathetic. Politics is a tough nut, and it’s taken some time for me to get past some of the will-sapping negativity that surrounds the topic and try to unravel enough of the facts to have a legitimate political conversation with someone.

I’ve been a registered republican for several years, but I’m not married to any party. I think I switched from independent when McCain and Bush were going against each other in the primary and I wanted to vote McCain. I’d probably say I subscribe to the libertarian ideal, but don’t find it very practical. As many have found as they grow older, I’ve gone from hating the man to being the man, fighting the power to being in power, and not suprisingly I’ve gone from being drawn to the donkey to somewhat reluctantly hanging with elephants.

I’ve found a love for debate and writing, a curiosity for new technology, and a friend who compliments my mentality well. The result is this site. I hope you enjoy it… I think that I will.
